We stock a wide range of items including trout, wines, homemade jams, preserves, cheeses, farm biltong, delicious honey brittle as well honey products and lots of other tasty goodies to treat yourself whilst on holiday !!! Seasonal vegetables are grown organically on the premises and are always used for the fresh salads served with our selection of light meals; from toasted sandwiches to juicy steak rolls, or even one kilogram of grilled rump if you are up for the challenge!! Families always enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and often sit for ages outside just chilling or enjoying a slice of Marelize's famous honey baked cheesecake with a cappuccino or pot of tea, whilst the kids go for a pony ride. The shop is filled with a large variety of exclusive and unique gifts as well as T-shirts , souvenirs and children's toys. On site, is the largest glass beehive in South Africa and this is an interesting educational way for both young and old to spend half an hour. There one learns about the honey bee and viewing these amazing insects. Scrumpy Jack's is the hub of all outdoor activities such as Avalanche Mountain Bike Park (5/15/30km trails and some awesome down hill riding) kids downhill bmx track, climbing wall, mountain boarding in the freestyle park or free riding in the forest. Khotso Horse Trails take place daily - from one hour up to full day outrides! We are also the people to talk to about day or overnight hikes into the majestic Drakensberg mountains. Send the kids to us for a 5 day Boot Camp; this is a fun filled survival adventure camp encompassing all the above mentioned activities!!
