You will find tea, coffee, hot chocolate, homemade rusks and a decanter of sherry in each room. There are fire places in some of the rooms to wear off the chill of the Free State nights. Some of the rooms have an en-suite bath or shower and two luxury double rooms with a bath and walk in shower. The finest hand embroidered percale linen is used with duvets in winter and mohair blankets in summer.
We believe that television is not an attraction in Clarens, however we have two separate communal area’s with DSTV for the sport enthusiast or a chick flick.

Apart from shopping can you just relax in the tranquil setting, or take part in the adrenaline action packed activities, like river rafting, horseback riding, etc Activities and AttractionsThe bulk of our guests just come to us for a relaxed few days and chill in the tranquil environment, however Clarens has many adventure sport from abseiling to white river rafting or for the not so adventurous crowd, a pot of tennis or 18 holes of golf is at the order of the day.   
FacilitiesWe offer 6 beautiful appointed bedrooms, each with it's own patio. All rooms have ensuite facilities, some with a full bathroom and others with a walkin shower. We serve a gourmet breakfast in the dining room or it the weather allows it in the garden. Lunch and dinner can be prepared on request. , the lounge is equipped with Television, which offers all SABCTV, Mnet and DSTV channels A beautiful appointed lounge with television can be turned into a boardroom for 10 delegates There is a large plunge pool in a beautiful award winning garden. Breakfast and DiningOur Gourmet breakfast has become our trade mark, during the week and Saturday morning a gourmet breakfast is served at your table and on Sunday mornings it is a sumptuous buffet breakfast - it has become so popular that even the locals are queuing up.
Dinner will gladly be prepared, and picnic baskets will be provided with a bottle of wine or local champers. Family get together’s and intimate weddings have become popular on the stretched out lawns or dining room.
